About Us
At Lighthouse Construction, we believe building a home is about more than wood and stone — it’s about people. That’s why we bring together a team of skilled craftsmen, thoughtful project managers, and trusted subcontractors who share the same values: honesty, care, and craftsmanship that endures.
As construction practices evolve, so do we. Through ongoing learning, collaboration, and respect for both craft and community, we deliver homes built to last — and built with heart.
Ryan Borchers
Owner
From 5 years old I started using carpentry tools inherited from my Great Grandfather. The gift of using my hands started at a young age and has continued to evolve. My building career started in my home state of Oregon and continued in Sante Fe, New Mexico until I landed here over 20 years ago, building homes in Southwest Colorado. When I experience families moving into their new home or newly renovated home; I feel a great sense of connection and joy.

Chris Lindell
Technical Coordinator
Chris moved to Colorado in 1994 and has been building here ever since, with projects ranging from modest homes to multi-million-dollar builds. The aspect of Technical Coordination is a detailed and challenging labor of love. Chris’ goal is to bring together the people involved to create a positive and productive working environment. No two houses are the same, but the target is always to deliver a high quality product for a fair price. Chris is a confident leader, and still has an open ear for everyone involved in a project.
Evan Meyer
Project Manager
Evan grew up in Colorado following his grandfather around build sites, where he first fell in love with carpentry. His career has included everything from wilderness guiding to therapy program direction, yet there was always a building project going on in the background. Over the years, he’s worked on remodels, van conversions, and custom homes, developing both skill and patience. Today, Evan brings that dedication and passion to every Lighthouse project.
Pato Robles
Marketing Consultant & Carpenter
Pato combines digital marketing with hands-on carpentry. After several years as a traveling web developer, he and his wife chose to settle in SW Colorado, where he discovered a new passion for building. Specializing in hardwood flooring and general carpentry, Pato now splits his time between job sites and online storytelling. He helps Lighthouse share its vision while also working with his own tools to bring it to life.
Our Core Values
We live by the same values in business that we do in life:
Integrity & Honesty — clear communication and trust at every step.
Craft & Hard Work — detail, durability, and pride in what we build.
Community & Compassion — building not just homes, but relationships.
Curiosity & Adaptability — always learning, evolving, and improving.
These values shape how we work with clients, subcontractors, and each other — creating homes that are more than buildings.
